even after various measures and features. Medial failed to fix the upvote manipulation for the showcase. see I am aware VC chose the startup winners. and I can disable the dm incoming with the medial gold / pro. But this manipulation makes the chart upside down 👎, Where funny and lame ideas at the top just because of manipulation of upvote dm. This is bad because good startup ideas go unrecognized. Not the winning, Not the winning but Recognition and get to meet like minded people or getting valued / valid criticism questions which help the idea to evolve. Hit me if I am wrong. Around 6 Months on medial I am still disappointed in this.

i think startup showcase needs to be updated, at first I am thinking to buy premium after that I realised cause in this upvote section people upvote word of mouth, not the idea , so how medial team will solve this

Can somebody please explain how the startup showcase contest on medial works? How do they rank the startup ideas (Upvotes, etc?)? And do we need a minimum viable product (MVP) to improve our chances of winning?
