Figuring Out • 3m

That makes total sense. Oyo is still publicly known for there hotel business only — but they have expanded to a lot of sectors like Co working space (it's called innovator ig), then into premium hotels and they even bought that American Hotel chain. So with that name change, they can show that's OYO Hotels is just one branch and they do a lot of other stuff too. It's similar to how Facebook rebranded to Meta, Google changed to Alphabet and Zomato to Eternal. Along with that the name change also makes sure that there's no dip in brand value if something goes wrong in one of their business. For eg, if we came across the news that hotel owners found stealing at OYO's hotels, it won't necessarily affect the brand image of their other business. W Move imo.

I think we should copy Oyo this time because unmarried couples are not allowed in Oyo but we can open a hotel in which 18+ couples can stay And we can also differentiate the rates within it, like if Oyo's per hour is 500 then we will keep it for 300
