𝗕𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗬𝗢 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 OYO Rooms is involved in a scam at high-demand tourist places. They overbook hotels and a lots of rooms on a first-come, first-serve basis. When rooms run out, customers receive a last-minute call that their booking has been shifted. The new hotel is often of lower quality but higher price, making OYO a significant profit. If customers cancel, it doesn't impact OYO, leaving customers to suffer. This happened to me in Puri, Odisha. Despite booking a month early, I received a call while traveling that my booking was shifted. OYO moved us from a 3-star hotel to a dirty lodge. After many calls, they couldn't help, and I had to cancel. We ended up searching for a new hotel with our luggage, paying a much higher price. Be cautious with OYO and consider other vendors.
