The most iconic ad... and it’s not even from a real brand 💀🌝 just found out metro trains (yes, the aussie railway people) made one of the most iconic ads ever in 2012. and it was for train safety. not tickets. not discounts. not some cool new engine. just “pls don’t die.” 🌝 they made a song called dumb ways to die with these little bean guys dying in the most chaotic and adorable ways – poking a bear – selling both kidneys online – taking your helmet off in space – and finally... standing too close to train tracks 😭 it was animated, hilarious, kind of sad, but impossible to forget. everyone was vibing to this safety PSA like it was a bop (because it was) 🌝🌝🌝 then they dropped a game. merch. plushies. it got 100M+ views. won 28 awards. and yes — train accidents dropped by 20% in melbourne. a literal life-saving meme 💀 brands these days wish they were this unseriously powerful. 🌝
