Hi founders and mentors, I'm currently working on a SaaS-based startup idea, but I’m trying to figure out a few important things: How can I identify if the problem I’m solving actually exists in the market? How do I know whether people are willing to pay for a solution to this problem? What are the best ways to do market research (target audience, market size, etc.)? How should I do competitor analysis effectively? And once I have all this, how can I validate whether my solution is the right fit? I’d really appreciate insights or tools that have worked for you. Tbh its a critical question. Whenever you think of SAAS i suggest as per my experience validate in following ways - Signal detection, connect with atleast 5 people who genuinely looking for solution and are ready to pay - build smallest MVP,even like just figma design only and connect with those 5 people again - once all the iterations are done,build the MVP with tech and offer it to your clients at free - you become their employee and handle product from their side,get all the non tech things done by yourself - identify the patterns and understand what all can be done to improve - till this time get atleast 10 clients onboard at free - once you are able to solve atleast 60-70% problem,think about pricing plans and onboard new clients on the basis of new pricing - get Video testimonials from these 10 clients - congratulations you have started your journey 👏 Its not easy but its possible. I am also on the same path
