Honest take, If AI bots have already started replacing friends for some people, being there to listen, talk, and even give emotional support, then it’s not that far-fetched to imagine them replacing pets too. I mean many have even thought about this, I personally don't have a pet but speaking to others. AI pets won’t chew your furniture, won’t shed fur all over your bed, and won’t need expensive vet visits. You can program them to match your mood, respond with affection, and even learn your habits over time, basically, a tail-wagging therapist with Wi-Fi you can say. lol And ofcourse man, sure, they might not have warm noses or zoomies at early midnight morning, but for those who can’t have animals due to allergies, housing rules, or lifestyle limitations, AI pets could be a comforting, quirky companion. I mean if AI is increasing and evolving maybe we have to be ready for this too.
