𝗦𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 If you’re in your 20s or just getting started. Here’s a powerful reminder from Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI): “𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 — 𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 — 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫.” 𝗪𝗵𝘆? Because we’re riding the 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 the world has ever seen. AI, biotech, robotics, space, and more — it’s all moving fast. This wave will 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 anyone who’s bold enough to build, explore, and adapt. 𝐒𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬? 𝐎𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐭? Sam says: That’s okay. In fact, it’s expected. The real skill of this era is 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 — your ability to change direction quickly and keep moving. "𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤. 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬.” Failures feel heavy, yes. You might need a break. Go hike. Take a short vacation. Reflect. But don’t stay down. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 — 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫. This decade will reward people who can move fast, stay flexible, and chase what excites them. You don’t have to have everything figured out. You just need to keep showing up. 𝐒𝐨 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 — 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞. This is the best time to try, to fall, and to rise again. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐢𝐧-𝐚-𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. — A message every young founder needs to hear.
