Good point about upside potential, but this advice only works if you can afford multiple failures. For most people, you need to balance bold bets with financial survival

This is why VCs exist - they can afford to make 100 bets knowing 99 will fail. The power law distribution is real in tech. One Google or Facebook pays for everything else.
