From someone in core engineering (mechanical): I wish I’d taken CS. We struggle to find relevant jobs and pay is abysmal unless you go to PSU or core R&D. CS grads get options in literally every industry..from finance to health to games. AI might change things, but CS will adapt faster than we will.
