India’s Public Transport: A Daily Struggle, Not a Service Yesterday, I decided to take a public bus home. What should’ve been a 3-hour ride turned into a 6-hour test of patience. There were no real-time updates or clear timings. I asked a simple question at the helpdesk — and the staff replied rudely, with zero interest or willingness to help. It felt like I was bothering them by simply asking for information. When the bus finally arrived, it was overcrowded and suffocating. No space to stand, no ventilation, and no order. What made it worse? The low civic sense around. Pushing, shouting, littering — no regard for others or public property. We talk about progress, smart cities, and development — but this is the everyday reality. Public transport shouldn’t feel like punishment. And public service shouldn’t feel like a favor. #PublicTransport #IndiaReality #CivicSense #UrbanDevelopment #TimeForChange
