. Most people already carry smartphones with emergency calling capabilities. The "works without a phone" feature sounds nice, but realistically, who's going to wear/carry yet another device that needs charging and maintenance? Improving existing smartphone emergency features or creating better emergency response apps would reach far more people at a fraction of the cost.

The size of the device will be less than 2cm diameter which can be easily attached with jewellery, accessories. A 15 to 18 months battery life. When there is emergency you don’t get that much time to do so much of operations from unlocking the phone to sending a alert. So apps really can’t help.
