more importantly, do we need satellite based internet ? the 5G speed that we get through the data is more than enough for all the daily works. Teams and zoom work absolutely perfect using 5 g. so the reason behind India not investing in satellite based is it's not the need of the hour.

Our VC is not interested in playing long term games. They just want an instant return. That's why they invest more in Food delivery, grocery delivery and not interested in tech. innovation companies.

I have been into the Startups Space from last 4+ Years & got pitched by over 2000+ Founders collectively.. You never believe, I haven't seen even one Startup that is working in the "Telecom Sector'. Not even one!! I am still confused about, whether this sector is fully sorted out or Capital Intensive or no-one's much knowledgeable about? I am ready to take up & Invest in any founder at an Idea Stage if any founder actually solves something in the Telecom Sector.

India has the capability to develop satellite internet infrastructure, but the question is why any company would invest heavily in it when the demand may not justify the cost. Currently, India has decent internet connectivity across most parts. While the speed isn't the best, Indian users tend to prioritize affordability over performance. Airtel and Jio already have well-established 5G networks and extensive infrastructure for fiber broadband and air fiber services, with significant market penetration. The number of people who can afford satellite internet is relatively small and those willing to pay for it are even fewer. This limits the potential customer base, making it less attractive for these companies to invest so much large amounts of capital in satellite infrastructure.

deploying sat in the orbit is very expensive. considering multiple factors the area you want to cover, no of sats, fuel, it's is very tedious and much costly starlink has cracked it, since they have reusable rockets and the tech behind is incredible. Indian govt is with slv, gslv things and private players have to crack this segment with huge investment. by the time it is done time is gone. it is better to partner with allies, that's what jio has done. these things can be done and it will take lot of time

Mostly Indian developer is busy with making foreign Apps. that's why we are not thinking about that 😅 Really it's very important Indian growth in IT field. soon I'll start making mobile Apps.

India can, but that would be very costly and thus they are relying on partnership rather than becoming atmanirbhar. At the end they are here to make money. Tata can dive into this industry but it will take time.

You see , it have become a race , just to get an X-Factor from your competition and the around this, SpaceX is the one which is getting ultimate benefit. Now tell me why would Jio or airtel spend their years & money when their competitions and doing it now
