Idea of the Day: While buying fruits at a shop, I noticed that many were rotten. When I asked the shopkeeper why, he said, "Yesterday, no one bought fruits, so now they are useless." This gave me an idea: An app where shopkeepers can update discounted prices for perishable items before they go to waste. For example: 1 kg of apples for ₹80 (instead of the actual price of ₹130). Benefits: 1. Shopkeepers can sell their stock instead of wasting it. 2. Customers get fresh fruits at lower prices. This app can also be used by restaurants, flower shops, and more. Restaurants can even receive tax benefits if they donate surplus food through our platform. Every year, 16 billion tons of food waste is produced globally. This app can help reduce it, even if just a little. "Where there is food, there is our app."

🚀 Working on an app that helps restaurants and grocery chains sell their surplus food instead of wasting it. Would love to get feedback from anyone who has experience in food waste, sustainability, or the food industry. Thoughts on this idea?
