🔥 Vodafone just INVENTED the world's FIRST satellite video call without using any TOWER Here's why that's huge: A Vodafone engineer in the middle of nowhere (Wales, to be precise) called CEO Margherita Della Valle using AST SpaceMobile's BlueBird satellites. For decades, no tower meant no signal AND Vodafone just eliminated that problem. Instead of relying on land-based towers, they turned satellites into floating cell towers. Most satellites sit 36.000 km above Earth and require large dishes for communication. Vodafone's Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites fly at just 500 km. allowing any regular smartphone to connect without extra hardware. That's what makes this a fundamental shift in mobile connectivity. And it's already ahead of: X Starlink Internet Requires a dish and setup. XT-Mobile & SpaceX's Satellite Plans - Still in progress. Meanwhile, Vodafone just made history. By late 2025. this rolls out across Europe & Africa. with global expansion next. A decade ago, this would've sounded delusional but it's possible today.
