This single reel Gained 1Million+ Views and took us from 200 to 1700 Followers within just 5 days. This experience taught me something really interesting about how people interact with Instagram, and I'd love to share these insights with you. Have you ever noticed how most of us use Instagram? We rarely open it with a specific goal in mind – we're not typically thinking "I'm going to learn about cooking today" or "I want to watch funny videos." Instead, Instagram and Facebook have become platforms we browse almost mindlessly, just to pass the time. This behavior actually tells us a lot about how our brains work while scrolling. During this time, Brain doesn't likes to waste energy by processing more information. You can usually see simple, funny or cringe reels gets more likes and engagements. Why?, Because our brain doesn't need any extra efforts to understand the content and those content can be processed quickly. Now at opposite side, Only few educational contents go viral. Why our attention span is good there?, Because the lazy brain can't able to information and sooner it looses interest and makes us to swipe to next reel. Until now you would have been thought if a video had more information, stats, it could go viral. We wish if that works, But sadly it works opposite. It's not about how much value you provide. It's about how you package the value. You don't need to provide more stats, You can provide simple basic stat and make it as special thing. Here's were storytelling plays the vital role. Instead of overwhelming your audience with multiple statistics, try presenting basic stats and making it special through storytelling. This is where the art of content creation really comes into play. So your aim should be - Make the content damn simple - Make your content structured (Hook - Main body - Takeaway) - Don't include complex info's. Also It's perfectly fine to draw inspiration from your competitors. Think of it as being an artist who learns from others – study their content, analyze what works, and then repackage it in your own unique way. And one more last thing, Instagram's CEO, Adam Mosseri, recently confirmed that 'likes' are one of the most important metrics because they require minimal effort from the audience. When you're evaluating your content's performance, pay attention to the ratio between likes and shares or saves. This can be a strong indicator of whether your reel has the potential to go viral. We cannot make every reel to go viral, So don't get frustrated if your reel doesn't performed better. Be consistent with your posting.
