I currently work as a software developer at a startup, and due to unavoidable personal reasons, I’m working from home. While remote work has its advantages, I often find it can get a bit monotonous. There’s something refreshing about being in the office—sharing conversations beyond work, building bonds with colleagues, and refreshing your mind with casual interactions (of course it all depends on your office culture). For me, the ideal scenario would be living in a city with my family and having my close friends working in the same city as well. This way, I could enjoy the best of both worlds: going to the office, spending quality time with family, and staying connected with friends. It sounds perfect, but making all those elements align is no easy feat. What are your thoughts on this balance between remote and office work?
