Remote is cheaper, but you lose that ‘chai break’ brainstorming. If your business thrives on creativity and quick pivots, getting folks in the office might justify the higher cost.

Why not mix it up? Pay folks more to show up in person when necessary, and let them save on commute costs by working remote otherwise?
