To use it, we need to have devices capable of rendering 10Gb per second. I think it may cost 10k more for devices which have 5.5G capability In Optical Fiber technology, we all are using GPON. After GPON there are more technologies and below are their speeds in Gbps 1. GPON - 2.4 2. XGPON - 10 3. NGPON - 25 4. NG2PON - 50 Our Main Problem is buying devices that are capable of processing large amounts of data in less time.
