This is not basically for restaurant and bakeries.. But mostly concentrated for functions and receptions. I got this idea once when I went for catering work and infront of my eyes they throwed 500+ idly, Rice, curries, payasam ,etc. For the above cases it depends on the owner if he thinks this food can be helpful for others then he can use it otherwise as usual he will throw it.
