My ultimate goal is to become an investment banker abroad, with a specific focus on Singapore, as I find limited career opportunities in this field within India. The CFA charter is highly regarded globally and aligns well with the technical and analytical expertise required in investment banking. I believe it would not only strengthen my financial acumen but also make my profile more competitive in international markets. Next Steps and Concerns: 1. CFA’s Value: Will the CFA alone be enough, or should I pursue internships or certifications to stand out? 2. Experience: Should I explore roles in corporate banking or private equity to build a solid foundation? 3. Networking: How can I connect with professionals in Singapore while based in India? Would this plan suffice, or should I explore additional pathways?
