Can somebody tell me about investment banking and its qualification. If I wanna get into top companies with decent packages and positions how should I apply for the jobs. What are the job roles and future values of investment Banking?! Where should I apply for jobs?! Eg:- If I wanna apply in Goldman Sachs as an investment banker, where and how can I get into the company. Through reference?! Or placements?! Or any other options?!

Actually very rarely they give jobs to folks from teir 2 colleges and below

Beuh I will tell the ideal route either you are CA qualified and done a decent mba you have high chances. Or Either you done betch in cse and then mba from some top b schools in finance. Then it will be much easy. If not either trust me it will not good for you. Either you will be underpaid or you will have horrible work hours and all. Also it's very tough for you to crack a decent job as well.
