I completely agree with you.. So we can't deny the fact that this rebrand helped them gain free marketing but unless your product isn't really that better/special than others, it hardly makes any sense. Like we all remeber the time When the glass of the Cyber truck broke but the product (cybertruck), alone was so better that because of the incident, it gained more visibility and everyone got to know about tesla.. Looks like Jaguar was trying to do a similar thing but is probably unsuccessful in it.
