I recently came across a situation where I was having a session with my client, and I faced an emergency at home. The session was scheduled for 1 hour, but I could only spend 20 minutes. I was in a dilemma about what to say to my client, but I explained the whole situation to him. I asked if we could reconnect in the evening on the same day. However, since he was in the USA, the time difference made it difficult for him to do so. I then asked if we could connect on another day when he was free, and he agreed. Just after the session, I sent him some documents for reference so that he could go through them in the meantime. I connected with him after two days. Sometimes, it's very important to tell the truth instead of worrying about what the other person will think about us. Some situations are uncontrollable, and being truthful in such cases helps build trust with customers. What would you have done if the same situation had occurred with you? :)
