It's like a ripple effect. If one gamifies its interface, others have to. Gamification gives a boost to Instant gratification + more retention which ultimately proves beneficial for the company and the user

Including games is a way to increase brand loyalty. It makes people spend more time in the app, but also helps form a positive connection with the brand
