When you are scrambling to finish your weekend homework on a Monday morning rush to school! 🙈 We recently created an investment-focused book club, and we are currently immersed in the epic tale of "The Last Tycoons". I had set a goal for myself to read at least a hundred pages over the weekend, but with back-to-back meetings and celebrations for Mother's Day, I simply couldn't find the time. In an effort to catch up, I found myself immersed in the pages during my flight to Mumbai on Monday morning. I am grateful for the constant support of my fellow club members, whose enthusiasm and encouragement have kept me accountable in maintaining a regular reading habit.📖🚀 #InvestmentJourney #BookClubCommunity

Why is these layoffs happening almost all the industry??...is there an AI factor or something else like financial crises?

Its true actually, if you see at the layoffs only VC backed companies mostly do it. Most don’t value the capital

I think most of them have/had over ambitious expansion plans. Which they have just realised doesn’t have that much of a serviceable market. Many VCs came here thinking they will invest Aggressively to 1.5 bn people whereas the serviceable market stands at around a growing 12mn households. With the targeted market.
