Why is these layoffs happening almost all the industry??...is there an AI factor or something else like financial crises?

I think most of them have/had over ambitious expansion plans. Which they have just realised doesn’t have that much of a serviceable market. Many VCs came here thinking they will invest Aggressively to 1.5 bn people whereas the serviceable market stands at around a growing 12mn households. With the targeted market.
