Everybody in this content era keeps on saying, "Storytelling is vital", "Storytelling is the only hook you need", blah blah blah... But no body tells you how to do proper storytelling for your content. For my clients I usually suggest SCARS Framework for their content which works really well for most of my clients. Before diving into it, Here are few points to remember - It's Not about the value, It's about how you package the value. - Perfect Storytelling outperforms algorithm anytime - Stories makes connect with your audience in better way and builds trust. Ok now let's see What is SCARS Frameworks (With examples) S - Setup - Give some context about the main character. ( Not about his characteristics or anything, It should be related to the story you are providing) C - Change - Where the change happens in the story (Sudden news, Realization, Insecurity to perform any task etc..) A - Adversity - What's the struggle you are facing at that story. R - Resolution - How did you overcame it or how did you plan to overcome it S - Switch - How you have been transformed. If you are still confused, Let me give you a simple example Setup - It was a commerce class in my school days. She was teaching lessons, it was pretty boring Change - Suddenly Teacher asked a question in her teaching, I knew the answer for it but remained silent. Even whole class is silent (I don't know whether they knew the answer or not) Adversity :- Because I used to think if I answer, "My friends will bully me for this", "They kick me out of their gang", "They will call me nerd". But suddenly teacher called my name and let me to answer it. Resolution - At that second, Not thinking about anything, I answered the question. She appreciated me. What shocked me is nobody even cared to bully me for that... I realized one thing after this incident. We often overthink about what others will think about us, But in reality nobody cares about us. Switch - Now I don't waste any opportunity provided to me, I don't even care what other people think. Because the same opportunity will be dream for somebody. So i am not taking it granted. Hope this example explained how to deliver value via perfect story, Incase of any doubts, Feel free to comment :) Also, Follow For More value ;)
