Few challenges that should also consider if you are looking for work in freelancer marketplace:- 1. Higher competition among gigs. 2. Countries of low income provide services at ultra low prices. 3. The more projects you have at a time, more bosses will sit on your head. 4. Higher risk of not getting paid, or delayed payments. 5. You will never get work which 100% aligned with your skill. 6. Employer is mostly interested in your current skillset, but won't pay you for your learning hours you spent. 7. It's not scalable if you can't build an agency. A single person can end up in burning himself under a lot of projects. 8. It's not easy to drop any project in between when you are getting better opportunity.
