𝗧𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝘀. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Tenure refers to the total time you spend in a particular activity, often doing the same tasks daily. This activity can take place anywhere. ---- For example, consider a typical office job where the working hours are 8 hours per day. You go to the office every day, perform the same tasks, and return home. If you’ve been doing this for the past 2 years, many would say you have 2 years of experience. However, that 2 years is really tenure, not necessarily experience. --- Now, let’s consider someone else who also goes to the office daily. After completing daily work (which takes about 3-4 hours), he/she spends the remaining time learning new responsibilities, connecting with colleagues, observing others, and picking up skills necessary for higher positions or future promotions. So for this person: 2 years of experience can be approximately equals to tenure of 5-6 years So, which one do you want to become?
