If you are remotely related to interview, then you should be asking this question so that you never get bad surprises after a hire. Ask them, "I hate surprises. Can you tell me something that might go wrong now, so that I am not surprised when it happensā€. It is a better way of asking, ā€œTell me what your weaknesses areā€. And this allows you to make it about you instead of them. You are asking them to help you. And they will also be more likely to open to you. You will know all the things you need to know about them which are negative. That doesn’t exclude them from getting a job, but now you know what you are getting yourself into. I use this myself in my business, and I have never regrated asking this question. Share the value with someone who may need it.
