++ I would suggest, take some rest. Pause activity for some time. See what all has gone wrong ? Do competitor analysis. Do a brutal comparison between you and competitor. Ask others (fresh brains), they might bring different perspective to same thing ,which might work. Asking for help is the best thing and it shows "you still want to make it happen, make it work". Put a pause than full stop. For the later one you will regret, agar thoda push kar leta to shayad aaj outcome kuch alag hota.

Answer depends on 1. What kind of startup you are running ? 2. What all methods you have tried yet to make it survive ? 3. Did you try any pivot ? If yes, what was the outcome ? Ans just can not be raw. It would be situation specific .

You should never quit, unless and untill you have the discipline, will and a team that works passionately about the goals that you have set. These are the basic three things that you need or should I say that they are must have. If you lack anyone of these, then aquiring them won't help you either in the current business. Instead I would suggest to quit and restart after aquiring all of these 3 basic requirements.

when u have tried all and there's no results from the other side or maybe u have priorities in life. it's just inner calling some time but u shouldn't quit just bcz other people say it

don't quit. you can always modify or improve whatever it is your working on. Adapt yourself and the idea to the present situation and take one step at a time. clear out the place that is both people and the drawing board.

When cash flow is not matching expenses or even justifying it

brother if you are working on it for more than a year so I'm hoping you have built its prototype or MVP if not then maybe your idea is on deep research based (sci-fi) if not then maybe you don't have a team (resources) if not then maybe you don't have clear action plans.. many more scenarios but see if building it's atleast prototype/(MVP recommend) is not that difficult then make it by learning skill or hiring, no code platforms (recommend is not from tech background) and test it with potential customers. if not then switch to some other market, technical feasible idea. Don't waste your time on it.. I talked with many startup founders and Mentors they always say "build fast, launch fast, fail fast, repeat"

Quitting should not be an option I think first of all, because there's no defeat till you stop trying.

you should look for a ux researcher and identify that is your startup really need to society or whatever niche your startup for. if it is then don't quit and not then quit it today.

you should never quit. Just stand up, fight back, try again and again
