What might be the possible reasons for the declination of the Celeb founded startup? Virat Kolhi ( the top Youth icon ) 's WROGN faced 29% declination and Deepika's skincare brand faced ₹25.1 Cr loss in the first 9 months of FY 24. I think it's because they have been losing their credibility amongst us. Reason: Because we all see random celebrities promoting whatever like tobacco, Alcohol, and other down graded products via surrogate marketing. Execution is another thing as well. Their involvement in their business is also low due to their Schedule. Btw HRX by Hritik Roshan is amazing and they've been doing great. Their branding is really awesome. What do you think about why the celeb founded Startup is declining.

WROGN had its peak when Virat was at the top of his cricket career. But trends change, and honestly, fashion brands need continuous innovation to keep up. They probably just milked the initial success without focusing on keeping it fresh.

When you see a celeb promoting a pan masala in the morning and a fitness brand in the evening, it’s hard to take them seriously. They’re losing credibility because they'll endorse anything for money, which ends up damaging their own startups too.

Well imo another reason for this is that today, almost all celebs and influencers got a brand.. And i don't think that aon the total spending is so much that all brands will keep on growing. If some one launchs a new brand, it may work well in first month because of following, but later the sales would fall. this is whatni think, i may ne wrong

Celebs are just lending their face to the brand without understanding the real work behind building it. Execution matters, and these brands suffer because celebs are busy shooting movies or playing matches instead of actually leading the company.
