People's wants to change thier phone brand but they need strong buzz around particular brand also service center are very less in compare of other phone brands . We need to create our own highly advanced Operating system and processer then we can easily occupy some market share of current market . We are importing Mostly big and small components of mobile phones from China and that's the main reason, we are not able to create full fledged Indian brand . If TATA Launch Full fledged Indian brand with highly advanced features and privacy then mostly indian will try because tata is the only company who has ability to revive Trust . Goverment subsidies also needed and if anyone is making then he should consider AI as a top priority and aesthetics for gen z

People trust what they know. Apple and Samsung have decades of brand loyalty, and Indian companies haven’t cracked that code yet

Many indian brands have tried and has failed terribly. The reason I would say is definitely, they were all trying to sell the product as a 'cheap' alternative. A phone in the modern day, more than a utility has also become a pride kind of thing. Also, these brands focus less about the looks and after sale services, be it providing updates or service centres. And, also if a new player is coming up, then people will definitely have the trust issue, to avoid that, we should definitely add a popular head in the core team, like 'nothing' gained that initial popularity, just because it was run by Carl pei, we all know he's an enthusiast at his job and a good marketer as well.
