As you know Zomato has launched " District " which is basically a go-to App for consumers where you can buy tickets of live events , shows , movies , night out etc. And For Movies Zomato about to buy the Paytm's Movie booking events for I guess 2000 Cr ( Not Sure) But why ? Can't it make ownself? Answer is NO. Since many movies theatres are owned privately by random people and firms it is a headache to capture and list them all in platform, which would take time and money. So it bought Paytm's Movie booking business, But will it be able to compete with BookMyShow and be a leader in the industry just like how it did with Grofers ( BlinkIt) ? What's your take on this
