I have start-up idea where we can stop movie piracy (stopping recording movies in starting days of movie release) through some hardware. Therefore we can increase the movie collection in theatres. For revenue we can charge from movie makers or theatres. Please give your feedback...

As per my view, India is a developing country and Quality of Living will grow significantly in near future, People will start prioritizeing "comfort and quality" over "affordability" Since ott platform coming into picture there is a very small Market where piracy happens n will also happen in future. But piracy effect on theaters r negligible[I don't think this as a product]

OMG I was having similar ideas few days back. I'll explain See I noticed that when you record certain screens from your smartphone you get a flickering video which is not at all watchable.But if you watch to your naked eyes the screen is clear.So if i get that in a movie via software or hardware and when it will be pirated the footage will be all flickering.

So your product is a hardware and you wanted to make money as service from movie producers. It's a great idea if what the hardware you are saying is a real thing and it does not available in market currently. Otherwise if it's available outside then it does not matter.

Firstly if you stop someone from recording then be ready to face backlash, their is no rule and regulations for recording screen of theaters. Many small theaters are running so they will pirate the movie so no one can stop piracy. Yes you can decrease the quality of piracy
