I would personally focus on reaching profitability sooner, as for hiring key talent, focus should be on the potential ROI and as to pivot or persevere, really can't decide, no matter how much we want to be data driven, we just aren't and on a long term time horizon, we are always proven right so maybe sustain till we reach inflection point.
