Mm.. I am using Duolingo and why I feel your point is not wrong but at the same time I think it's all upon the users like not every child studies in a school same as student in Duolingo will not spend his full time and focus and will procrastinate, then only he will learn the basic language and if he wants to learn, he will be able to learn the complete language.
