Hey I am on Medial • 1y

Idea/Solution: A company/app which can integrate with government and help Indians change their surnames on all documents without any trouble. Context/Problem: Most Indian surnames are caste based. I mean if you open wikipedia you can find most Indian surnames and their ancestral profession. But today their profession is completely different than the surnames which they had adopted earlier. This is affecting, if not all but most people in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. I am a victim of it. Metro cities don't face this issue a lot. Your thoughts 👇🏻

Do you think that Indian job seekers (specially from tier 2 and tier 3 cities) need help with their resumes? I wonder if they will pay 100 rupees or so if I transform their resume to a great one in just 3 clicks.

Indian VCs pour crores into showboat startups from Tier 1 cities — no MVP, no roadmap, just reels & retreats. But if you're from Tier 2 with real tech, real hustle — silence. Later, they wonder why India's youth chases jobs or opens thela startups.

Bose Professional is betting big on Mangaluru they’ve set up their 1st R&D Global Capability Centre (outside Massachusetts) there. What started with 1 engineer has grown to 25, aiming for 100 soon. Big win for India’s tech tier-cities.
