What's your opinion on Corporates demanding it's employees to serve notice period for 3 months when they are not validating our work for whole year of services and suddenly they feel we are the best asset and need to transfer knowledge to the next person. The funny fact is I requested for a promotion for senior but they ignored and they asking to work for 3 months saying to train their senior associates 🫨🧐 Share your opinion on this....

Classic case of 'you don't know what you've got till it's gone'. Use this as leverage - negotiate a better package or shorter notice if you stay to train.

15 days is enough for KT. Our firm has a policy of no notice period and the associates are free to leave, they just need to complete the ongoing client work if any.

There is a huge gap between Big MNCs and new-age startups. where new-age startups are hiring fast and firing fast. MNCs have a long hiring and notice period process. This gap makes many people unable to shift from MNCs to startups. also the fact that startups only hiring immediate joiners is very weird. they are insisting people to only apply if they can join within 1 week.
