And the company says that by "turning into the wind," it can harness the full power of severe weather.โ โ That's in sharp contrast to most existing turbines, which are forced to shut down when conditions become extreme.โ โ If this can be scaled up successfully, it could be a valuable asset in a world buffeted by stronger and more destructive storms.
