Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says market got it wrong about DeepSeek’s impact Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang isn't worried about DeepSeek's new AI model, R1. In fact, he's incredibly excited about it! Despite the market's initial freak-out (Nvidia's stock took a tumble when R1 was released), Huang believes R1 is actually good for AI and will speed up its adoption. He thinks it'll push everyone to create even more efficient models, which means more computing power will be needed, not less. Plus, he points out that even with R1's advancements, reasoning (a key part of AI) still needs lots of computing resources. So, good news for Nvidia! DeepSeek is also planning to release five open-source code repositories next week, which is exciting news for the AI community. What is your opinion on this?
