Already many rich families are using this technology because it comes with so many safety features and definitely we should made this in India even private office's and tier 1 cities people will use this but this thing already available in the market but mostly companies are not selling this as a main product maybe because of low demand but if any person really wants to do something in security and safety sector them that person needs to come with 10-15 different types of products or you can make a proper high tech ecosystem.

₹16k is steep, but think about the convenience and security. No more duplicate keys for help/guests. If an Indian company can nail this with good quality and after-sales service, there's definitely a market. Maybe target societies and builders first?

Forget making it in India, I'm more concerned about using it in India. Imagine the 'jugaad' people will come up with to bypass this! On a serious note, we should focus on making it 'India-proof' - dust-resistant, heat-resistant, and power-backup enabled.
