Your first step should be to validate your idea cheaply. Use surveys, interviews, or a simple landing page. If there's interest, build a basic prototype or MVP. Don't contact VCs until you have some traction. Ideally, you want paying customers or significant user growth. When you're ready, look for warm introductions through your network. Cold outreach can work, but it's much harder. Focus on building a great product first. The funding will follow.
