Idiocracy is an American dystopian movie from 2006. It's a must watch. The costume designer was struggling to find shoes that looked futuristic but were dumb enough that ni way anyone would ever wear a pair in real life. She stumbled upon a little unknown startup that made novelty shoes and decided to buy some from them as the design she deemed was so ridiculous, there was no way this abomination would be part of our lives. Long story short, that little startup was Crocs and hate to admit this but I own a couple of pairs. Guys I am wearing idiot shoes and proud of it. This goes to show your idea could be a hit or miss only after you try executing it. So called Idiot shoes now makes billions in revenue and has brand stores all across globe. Take the leap and try your idea!
