I think algorithms are already in place! It limits the number of profiles you can swiper per day so that everyone can get fair share of matches. But everyone wants the cream! It's the law of nature. Dating apps work so well in foreign countries where population ratio isn't skewed. It's same as Bangalore's traffic problem, you can do anything you want build flyovers, metros but after certain point everything will still fail of people keep coming in from different cities. In both cases crowd is issue.
