Have you also seen the Amul ads which says "Amul ice cream is real ice cream and the rest is frozen dessert" so this is the competition between Amul and HUL's kwality walls. But how to differentiate frozen dessert and Ice cream? according to Indian express Frozen dessert is made up of Water followed by Sugar and Palm oil and "Frozen dessert does not contains milk". On the other hand real ice cream is made up of milk or milk solids and "does not contains vegetable oil" FSSAI: Both edible. Before going out to buy something turn the product and check the first three ingredients of the product โ these are the ones that are present in most amounts. The ingredients that are mentioned at last are present in the least amount. Anyways after Amul's ad campaign HUL sues it and surprisingly wins the case with the judgement that Amul cannot run these ads but it also clarify that the products made up of vegetable oil must write on the pack "Frozen Desserts". Conclusion - eat Kulf, it is healthy.
