Hey I am on Medial • 1y

I love my job and the passion I have for our mission, but the amount of overtime I'm putting in is killing me. It feels like I'm constantly working late nights and weekends, and it's really starting to take a toll on my mental health and personal life. I'm finding it harder and harder to maintain a work-life balance, and I'm starting to feel burned out. I've tried setting boundaries, like turning off my notifications after a certain hour, but then I just fall behind and feel even more stressed. I've also talked to my manager about the workload, but it seems like there's always more to do and not enough people to do it. I know that working at a startup means putting in extra effort and going the extra mile, but at what cost? How do you all manage to maintain a work-life balance in the fast-paced world of startups? Is this just the norm, and I need to toughen up, or are there strategies I haven't thought of? I'd love to hear how others are coping with this and any advice you might have

I think Quality of Work, People, and Focused Discussions keep me going in the workplace. I believe one needs to find that work-life balance, and compensation should balance out the work that makes that work relationship great and long-lasting.
