Now a days searching for the skilled developer are very difficult. I work in big company and we have done multiple rounds of Whole interviews for selecting few candidates. All candidates will be rejected at first round because very poor skill. And we schedule the interview for next batch in next day. We conducted interview for 1300 people and only 30 Got selected for next round and in 3rd round all got rejected. We are very disappointed and it’s draining all our mental energy. I don’t know what to do. We are keep on reducing the difficulty of the interview because we need the developers to fill the gap. Already working developers are Working hard and doing overtime. They also very disappointed. Now whom to blame or what is the solution we can take. If someone has any idea please share.

Do you think TCS is bluntly blaming people because either they dont have a good HR team to search for new recruits, or they dont have money to pay high trained professionals?

I don't know why there's a lack of knowledge and a huge opaque window between professionals working and new joiners. Our education system is totally unaware of the skills required in the industry

Those vacancies are vacant because the criteria are not matched, that is why there are many unemployed people

Yeah, then people will complain that why India is not like usa or China, because these two countries realised that public sector/govt jobs only brings toxic bureaucracy and corruption, yet people will not understand, we couldn't deny the fact that why Indian people still have that "kam se kam kaam krke zadya se jadya Paisa kamao" you can't blame people until they change their mindset

They're preferring on campus students more, makes things easy for rmg. Seen fellows scoring above 80% still not getting interview mails.

It's an opportunity really. Those protesting about AI taking jobs should be upskilling or reskilling to meet the demands of companies like TCS.

Part of the problem is our education system is out of sync with industry demands. We need more focus on tech skills starting from an early age.
