While forests absorb atmospheric carbon, transforming it into biomass, farming practices(like commercial plantation) have mixed effects on global warming. Agriculture emits greenhouse gases like methane and nitrous oxide, and deforestation for farmland releases carbon. However, sustainable methods like conservation tillage and agroforestry can enhance soil health and carbon storage, reducing emissions. Adopting renewable energy also cuts down fossil fuel dependence. Thus, while agriculture can exacerbate global warming, it also holds potential for climate action. Creating green spaces, even small ones, provides clean air and a natural retreat, enriching our lives beyond urban confines.
