This might sound dumb but hear it out.
Why are there no platforms where people with ideas for startups or people who have an MVP and what not can sort of like post or something about either their idea or about their product/business in order to seek
So what if the investor likes a certain idea that has many upvotes or something, and then the investor approaches the person who posted the idea either through dm or e-mail and then they mutually set up a meeting?
I posted my idea a bit late, so it's not getting much visibility,
which is why I'm having to do this.

About the idea showcase, everybody is dming to gain upvotes and have friends on this platform to quickly gain upvotes because of this the competition is becoming biased as the one who joined first are at an advantage.
